The purpose of this blog is to share with anyone interested the various experiences that I had while growing up in a very parochial world.
These experiences shaped my adult perceptions, enabling me to formulate an approach to life, and later, to career, that specifically responded to the inequities and difficulties that I experienced.
Although I am old now, my experiences as a kid continue to influence my outlook on the world.
